Hi everyone, I registered a while ago but never posted. I brew all grain and obsess about beer as I'm coeliac and can't drink anything commercial or down the pub. Based in central belt of Scotland. Hope to be a little involved in posting going forward!

Thanks guys, pretty easy on what I'll try. I'm due 50th batch in a couple weeks and I've attempted most things. I tend to set a campaign for the year and try to have one beer of that style on tap at all times. Last year was investigating different styles, combo and processes for hops. Lager this year.

Brew no sparge with a picnic cooler, 32l kettle on hob and a couple coopers fermentors. 3 kegs on tap at any given time, 5 in total. Likely upgrade to stainless later this year on some stuff.

I've done a Vienna and Czech Pils so far. Marzen next and probably a Dortmunder export after that.

Welcome in Mac 😉 How do you deal with your condition and the brew ? are you a Clarityferm user or do you have other methods ?
Beer is like porn - you can buy it easily enough, but its so much more fun to make it [wink]

Yup, started on clarity ferm bit switched to Rob's NBS clarity a while back. One jar is £15 but treats 600l of beer. Never had a problem with any brew where used, and I'm extremely sensitive. It was honestly a lifesaver!

Glad it works for you 😉 seen several people who say they still get traces of gluten through the beer using clarityferm, and I know that you can use other malts like buckwheat etc, but I've not heard too good things about those either lol

At least this way, you get all the best malts and flavours [thumb]
