yeah thats more or less what I did, it tasted good though, I think ill stick to my temp probes and not use fat though.

Gravity today was down at 1.008/2°P, seemed like a good time to add the elderflower.
I pasteurised about 100 Grams of fresh elderflower in two litres of water and added it to the beer. Probably will bottle it next weekend.

Had a few pints of the Elderflower Ale last Weekend.
It's not my most exciting beer, very clean and dry, but you could easily drink three in a row.
The Elderflower comes through fairly strong too.

Nice one for the summer.

I'm still waiting for the elderflower to come out there is a little here and there it still not alot to collevt here but by the looks of the bushes it should be with in the next week or two I got a carrier bags worth last year and that wasn't enough so going to stretch to two bags.

Edit that's a good looking pint there G ^ :)

That looks lovely.
I’ll be kegging my elderflower blonde this evening. I added a little more bitterness this time in order to try and make it a bit more interesting but it is a very easy drinking refreshing beer.
I don’t have hobbies. I’m developing a robust post-apocalyptic skill set.

Well last year I only had enough to see me for two 22ltr batches so I thought I would get a little more to see me through. The nettle stings were worth it lol
