Alcoholx says 68C in OP,

I mashed mine at 66.9C only coz that is where it ended up after doughing in and I wanted a quick brew, I was gonna try it a bit higher but hey ho maybe next time.[tongue]

i aimed for 68 but was a bit over that after mashing in around 68.5C, also the final gravity was high at 1.016 with using s-04 yeast, ive been using gervin gv12 for while because its easy to get locally, but my thinking is that a cobination of standard mash temp and the yeast has been making my beers a little thin for my taste..   i could be wrong but the first thing i noticed about the beer was the body
