Steven from The Crossmyloof Brewery has donated 100g of 2016 Galaxy pellet hops for a forum competition.

Your entry could not be more simple, simply post a picture of your pint on this thread along with the recipe used, please don't post photo's of recipes from books. ( copyright )

The competition will run for seven days as from today, Steven himself will pick the winner or maybe Tom!

The winner MUST post a review on the quality of the Hops and also the Service.

The review is to be posted within one month from the competition end date, failure to give a review will mean automatic disqualification to future competitions.

All members are invited to enter.

NW IPA

A NE IPA brewed in the NW of England! With English hops, malts and yeast. A fruity, non flocculant yeast. You can keep your gelatined stuff, this was a great beer. Fruity, spicy, zingy. Lush.

10 Litre All Grain English Blonde Ale OG: 1.048 FG: 1.012 ABV: 4.72 % Colour (SRM): 4.3 (EBC): 8.5 IBU: 40

1.500 kg Maris Otter Malt (92.31%)
0.125 kg Caramalt (7.69%)

10.0 g Northern Brewer Pellet (8% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes 
10.0 g Challenger Leaf (7% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes 
10.0 g Northdown Leaf (7% Alpha) @ 15 Minutes 
10.0 g Challenger Leaf (7% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (steeped at 80C)
10.0 g Northdown Leaf (7% Alpha) @ 0 Minutes (steeped at 80C)

Mash at 67°C

Mash at 66C for 60 mins

20g Fuggles @60

Some great looking beers here already, get involved people you cant beat a bit of galaxy!

I will politely decline entering this one as I have already had a free sample of Galaxy from Steven so I'd feel a bit cheeky trying to squeeze some more out of him [rofl]

Never used galaxy before. It would be an intersting one to use. Good of Crossmyloof to offer up a prize.

That would all depend if you could come up with a great brew though Rich [rofl] would it not? i challenge you! beet this.
