Pinto
It's a subjective thing, m8.  Best to start with a pint of dry and add little by little till you find what you want.
Beer is like porn - you can buy it easily enough, but its so much more fun to make it [wink]

I don't think she will really know what she wants- and I'd have it how it came out... so I'm going to be guessing anyway!

Thanks for the help!

Just need my stout to be ready to bottle so I can get this going- hoping to get on it next week so I can have the fermentation fridge back in April to do a couple of beer brews in time for BBQ season!

Yep use Splenda or any sucralose based sweetener. In my last job I used to do the advertising for it!
It’s pretty close to sugar without the usual bitter or metallic aftertaste you get with saccharin or aspartame, and while it does linger a bit in your mouth, in a cider I doubt that would be an issue. It won’t ferment or add any volume or anything weird.
It’ll also pass through you system and out the other end unchanged so your Richard the thirds will be lovely and sweet too.

Cool, thanks!

I won't be drinking it so I won't be getting that effect...
