"Sparkling wines from the UK will include Denbies sparkling Whitedowns brut and Whitedowns rosé brut, as well as Hardys sparkling pinot chardonnay from Australia.

The pubs will also serve wheat beers from the UK – Blue Moon Belgian white, Thornbridge versa weisse beer and SA brains atlantic white.

Wetherspoon will continue to serve Kopparberg cider from Sweden. Kopparberg has confirmed that it will be producing its cider in the UK post-Brexit.

Alcohol-free Adnams ghost ship will replace Erdinger alcohol-free beer from Germany."

Don't think they are dropping all EU stuff though, I suspect Belgian beers will stay, and some wines?

Yes, I thought I was missing something there- it appears that the Blue Moon we get is brewed in Canada rather than the US... but that's still not the UK by any stretch!

Pretty sure its brewed under licence over here but even so calling an american interpretation of a belgian beer a UK wheat beer is a bit of a stretch!

Blue moon tastes like shite wherever it’s brewed
Terrible beer and I’ve no idea how it sells, I’ve never met anyone who likes it

I like it. I've not met you though.

Exactly
I make a point of never meeting people who like blue moon, even if they have magnificent names.

Shame really - some excellent European brewers have done nothing to deserve their products being withdrawn.  Seems some people still have issues distinguishing between a group of our continental friend nations and a parasitic political anathema that attaches itself to them and claims to be in charge....

Beer is like porn - you can buy it easily enough, but its so much more fun to make it [wink]

I wondered that- and Hop House 13.

Can't see them dropping Guinness, there would be a revolt. And a huge drop in takings. He's replacing things that sell in small quantities, it seems. He doesn't mention the Belgian beers either.
