Have found that my local calor in the town I live does pub gas foe 80 pounds start off and 18 pounds refill is that a good price ?

If that price contains a refundable cylinder deposit,its probably worth going for if you cant be bothered to shop about m8.

I think most companies charge around that now, as Jeff says that will include a deposit for the cylinder.

Would they refill a cylinder for 18quid even if they haven't supplied it? I might be worth checking gum tree/ebay/etc for an empty, or part empty cylinder.

This is what we used to do where I used to work- even with welding gas bottles!
