I accidentally ordered liquid malt, rather than DME, to use for a starter.

Usually I use about 100g of DME per litre of water to get a 1.040 wort. Can anyone advise how many grams of LME I'd need to use?

125g I believe.  for every 100g of grain, you'd use 75g of LME or 60g of DME.  So by that chalk, you'd use 25% more LME than DME....

I used it once ages ago in an APA I did. Worked out well. But I just tend to use US05 dry in that style now. Cheaper and believe it's pretty much same yeast. I tend to use liquid yeasts more in English Ales of late.
