I have a large batch next to no primed cider in bottles in the shed. Can i empty it from the bottles into a keg and prime it ?

It's worth a go Justin. I would purge the keg first with CO2 and try to pour without disturbing too much yeast. Get the pressure up to 30 - 35psi for 24 hours and try it the next day. Can you chill the keg?

The carb was a bit low but could despence it and was able to drink it. Only one of the reg valve works and contols all reads all three. But i can uae it and control each seperatly. Will give it another play when i have beer in the kegs. It will take a little tinkering just as they say rome waant built in a day.

Edit the first load of gas had a leak and had to get a new bottle.

If it's coming from one of the John Guest fittings mate you will need to cut the tubing with a ultra sharp knife, the slightest kink or bur causes leaks.

Cut the tubing against a block too so you keep the knife blade perfectly parallell - ive had JGs leak simply because the cut wasnt straight.
Beer is like porn - you can buy it easily enough, but its so much more fun to make it [wink]
