Today I have made:
- salted caramel choc brownie ice cream (although the custard base was done yesterday)
- a lasagna
- 1.5kg of sausages (still to be stuffed!)

and that was after a morning kicking a rugby ball round with my lad in Richmond Park!

I’m flippin knackered!

Funnily enough, I was thinking that our kitchen had been productive today as the mrs has just baked a cake after I'd made today's brew.

The Salted caramel ice cream is bloody lovely. Sausages being eaten tonight. Lasagne was pretty good too!

Sausage was a winner. I got some of the supaphos stuff @Pesho77 put me onto and it really does make a difference, this one had a really good firm and juicy texture. Everyone declared it my second best sausage to date. Apart from my son (10) who declared it tasted like ‘sausages from Tesco’.

yeah it was noticeable how different this one was. I ground all the meat fine, and it wast even that fatty (I could only get shoulder which wasn’t ideal), but it was lovely. Good tip, thanks!
