Siba are on the warpath against large breweries imitating craft beer. Bringing out a kite mark.

Are you bothered who makes a beer if it's good? Do large brewers make good beer? Are brands that have been bought out always ruined by the new owners?

I think the whole 'craft' label is a bit of a nonsense to begin with, its certainly no guarantee of quality and yes larger breweries can produce good beer IMO. Having said all that I think you are more likely to find an exceptional beer from smaller independent producers because of the greater freedom they have to be more experimental and do small batches with a wider range of ingredients but I'm not going to be dismissing beers because they don't have the SIBA endorsement even if my preference would be to support smaller independent brewers where possible
