I'm going to have small amounts of lots of different hops left after this seasons brewing is finished. It'll include
Fuggles
First gold
Cascade
Atahnum
Azacca
Colombus
Victoria secret
Ella
Galaxy
Bobek
Mosaic
Motueka

So I was thinking about making a beer, probably a pale, that used all of them.
The idea was to use a very small quantity of each hop (including dry hop) at each addition to get to a 5%, 40 ibu beer.

What would it be like?

Very generic, an average of all those hops?
Would it reach some sort of hop purity?
A muddle?
Complex and layered?

Should I do it?

It'll taste like fruit salad with pesto and hay in it.

Like most of my beers then!

I think it would probably taste a bit muddled. A bit of a faff, but what about a few different small batches that uses 3 or 4 of each?

Too much of a faff!
It'll be a user upper so low expectations.
Consider it an experiment in the name of homebrewing.
I'll probably do it and still have loads of hops left anyway as I've got 20 or 30g of most of them!

It's a brilliant selection of hops you've got there!  Personally I would limit to 5 or 6 max in a brew, but one off experiments can be fun. Risk of disappointment though....

Goddam I'll do it. Especially if I'm still off work next week!

Not desperately, but thanks for asking! Sleeping better which means I’ll have to go back to work, but the old prostate’s still complaining!
Seeing the specialist tomorrow so hopefully he can sort summit out.
I’ll bribe him with homebrew.

Keep drinking the homebrew, and piling the hops in, I reckon that'll fix the prostate. [thumb]

There's some method in the madness, they are antibacterial after all.
I'll just stew them in turmeric first.
